Teambuilding Regatta

Company sailing regattas are an innovative way to reward and motivate key members of staff. To succeed, teams will require effective communication skills and learn to co-operate and trust each other in a competitive environment.

Yachting has long been known for its pure team-building qualities and this event combines teamwork with the thrills and spills of racing a modern yacht. Prior sailing experience is not required as the event is designed for all levels. Each yacht will have a skipper on board to familiarise teams with the boat. In the training session participants will be instructed in all aspects of sailing a racing yacht. The crew are there for your safety and will encourage every member of the team to participate, so be prepared to roll your sleeves up.

After the training session a series of three races is run around a challenging short course, with lots of turning marks to ensure competitive racing with places changing constantly. The boat with the best overall results wins the regatta.

Itinerary

1500 Guests join the yachts. Introduction to crew and safety briefing.

1530 Intensive training session.

1630.Start of race series

1900 Return to dock for Champagne reception and results.
